Paul Wesley Releases New Single, ‘Month Of May’

Dubai-India based singer/songwriter and composer, Paul Wesley has officially released his new single, Months of May. The track came out over the weekend on May 28th, 2022.

Month Of May iterates the first rains that hit the city of Mumbai around the mid to end of May, specifically around suburban hill stations; also being summer vacation time. The atmosphere takes on a sense of calm and tranquillity that has to be experienced first-hand.

In a way, the track depicts a hybrid between the real and surreal.

“The nights leading up to the first rains can be humid and mildly irksome, but once the skies open up, the weather is truly magical,” Wesley says

Whilst being professionally involved in design as a visual artist and concept designer, Paul adds another dimension to the creative process with his passion for music, lyrics and sound design.

His desire to craft emotive songs and instrumentals is quite evident in his musical portfolio, which ranges from soft rock to darker themed tracks.

Wesley has mastery of the piano, violin and guitar, with a passion for musical programming. He dives into every element of the musical process for his songs, from songwriting, composing, arrangement, mixing, mastering and graphic design.

“Our characters in the song seem to be feeling the same thing while being curious about each other in a similar setup. One is more outgoing, the other, quite reserved. They break the ice, trying to escape the hot summer nights by taking a walk around the summer house in the wee hours of dawn when the rains start to pour.” Wesley concluded.

Paul Wesley is currently based between Dubai and Mumbai.
