The Sun Harmonic Narrates Adventure Across Canada In ‘Coast To Coast’ Album

The Sun Harmonic’s album, Coast to Coast was officially released late last year on October 1st, 2021 on vinyl and streaming services.

After 6 years of preperation, Coast to Coast comes with a subtle and relaxing mood with neat lyrics seemingly based on Kaleb Hikele’s experiences on his trip across Canada.

“I performed all of the instruments on the record myself and crafted it in my home studio in Toronto. The idea and process took 6 years; after travelling across Canada from the west to east coast of the country to visit five different recording studios, I brought the album home to glue it all together,” Kaleb explains.

The Sun Harmonic is the stage name of Canadian singer-songwriter and indie music troubadour Kaleb Hikele.

He leads a folk-rock trio on stage and orchestrates dynamic studio albums from his home recording facility in Toronto’s east end.

Kaleb’s musical identity and choice of genre is constantly evolving, all the while staying true to his vision and growing as a self-produced artist twelve years on.

After touring the country as a solo artist and taking a few years away with an injury, Kaleb returned to the stage with a new band lineup and studio releases that landed a heavy rotation on satellite radio across North America.

The Sun Harmonic is an artist dedicated to his craft, building a listening audience and crafting his discography while offering music to the world at his own pace.

“I’m really happy to share my album Coast to Coast with you.” Kaleb Hikele says.

“The last song on the record was a live recording taken with one mic from one of the worlds most famous stages, an impromptu performance that wasn’t really suppose to happen. Magic and rich creative moments are weave into this album and I hope you love listening to it. Thank you.” He concludes.

I find myself drawn into Coast to Coast every time I listen to the album. With beautiful and gently narrated stories, I feel like I’m part of Kaleb’s adventure across Canada. I somehow crave to see the place and experience it myself.
