Megan Thee Stallion’s New Song “Body”, Encourages Women’s Natural Physique

The hip-hop artist’s new catchy song “body” encouraged body positivity all across social media, with influencers on Tik Tok confidently showing off their natural bodies to a 15-second snippet of the song.

The music video released to YouTube 20th November featured the bodies of many prominent Black celebrities through surprise cameos. The stars shown throughout the music video included Taraji P. Henson, Jordyn Woods, Blac Chyna, Malibu Miitch, Asian Da Brat, Tabria Majors, Bernice Burgos and Daren Kyle.

The woman in the video dressed confidently, empowered through their own body types and body figures.

Megan Thee Stallion always praised for her love of natural bodies gave a moving speech on Body Positivity at the American Music Awards, proclaiming her message of self-love, she said, “I love my body. Every curve, every inch, every mark, every dimple is a decoration on my temple.”

She stressed, “My body is mine. And nobody owns it but me. And who I chose to let in is so lucky. You may not think my body is perfect, and it probably never will be, but when I look in the mirror? I love what I see.”

Recently the song has taken hold over TikTok with influencers like Madi Monroe and Sienna Mae Gomez posting pictures of them appreciating their bodies to a 15-second snippet of the song. Encouraging their followers to appreciate their bodies for what they are, perfectly imperfect.
