Alune Releases Soothing New Album, ‘Phases’
Alune has debuted their hauntingly beautiful new album, ‘Phases ‘. The vocals of duo Tasmin and Laurence intertwine and dance in step together on their album, backed by an atmospheric and unique sound. This makes for a piece of music that carries the listener away into a world crafted by Alune. One thing that’s definitely worth noting is the theme of mental health awareness. One for the tracks talks about social anxiety and another covers the ‘talk’ with yourself when you realise you might be battling something more than just feeling ‘sad’.
Tasmin states that “I think this is really important to openly discuss since there is still stigma around the topic. There’s nothing to be ashamed of!”

Alune aptly describe themselves as two awkward and weird creatures with guitars and a passion for all things music! They’ve written as solo artists but the magic happened when they had a jam session a couple years ago and they have not looked back since.
Their album, Phases, is a testimony of the different phases of life, both collectively as a human race and in their personal experiences. They communicate the message that no one is ever alone in their experience, and hope that their music will serve as a reminder of this.
